How much square footage for ducks?

Yes I'm saving up for poultry netting, that way if any critters try to get in they will get zapped. I'm also going to get the netting to cover the top, I just have to figure out how to do that since the run is so large.

My aviary netting is attached to a shed and then strung cross the top of the run. Do you have any buildings near your run that you could attach the netting to? You can do an internet search and look at images or do a search here on byc, that is where I got the ideas from regarding the netting that I am using.

My coop is a shed so I could attach it to that. I'm just worried about width and length as my run isn't a rectangle it's an odd shape.

If you get a large enough netting, you should be able to make it work. But, yeah, look up some ideas. I know with a bigger run, you will probably want something in the middle to hold it up, otherwise, you will be dunking under the netting.

That dog kennel in the run is referred to as the kennel of shame, lol. Lately my roos have been spending some time in there.

What fencing will you be using?

The run has chicken wire all the way around. I think I'm gonna run another fence above the one I have. Then put posts in the center to hold the netting on top and I can also use them if I need to seperate the run. Then I am gonna put poultry netting around the outside of the run fence. What do you think?

Your ducklings are very cute! And look like you they have lots of personality. How do they like the little red cup things for water does it work well for you?
