I feel like all I do is post stupid questions. I have 3 austrolorpes and 3 red sex link. They do not eat very much of the starter food at all. It seems I rarely replace it. This is what they get. In the morning I give them a few spoons of yogurt with crumbles on top. Then I give them fresh spinach and beet greens from my garden (and any dandelions or chickweed I pull between run and garden). Then they free range for about an hour. During this time my kids each give them one handful (hand fed) of meal worms to work of making them less aloof. Then in evening I let them free range for another 1 to 1.5 hours. And I hand feed them more greens from garden (usually carrot tops).
So my guess is I'm giving them too much additional food and they probably are too full to eat it. So, how bad is it that they aren't eating the crumbles. Should I lay off the greens or should I add vitamins to their water?
