I looked into these but they are cost-prohibitive. Very cool builds though! They have lots of great ideas

Their "budget-friendly starter coop" for 5 chickens is $1700!

eyeballing this, without knowing your planned dimensions, I'd say budget about $700, maybe more if you decide to go with metal roof instead of shingles.

an experienced builder could do it a bit cheaper, but you will make mistakes, so you will probably have more wasted resources due to said mistakes.

I'm building another run for my new chicks, it will be 12x30, totally encased in hardware cloth, with a wire skirt. Just the run alone is going to cost me about $700 with lumber, wire, screws and door hardware. I haven't even planned the coop yet. I'll be in for close to $1000 when I'm done. This set-up will be predator proof, and should last till after I'm dead and gone, though, so worth it.
