How much to charge for a rooster?

I was supposed to have all hens but there are some roosters. I need to either butcher them or sell them. How much is reasonable to sell them?

I ask for $5-10 at first, and if they don't sell I offer them for free.

I agree 5-10$ is fair but I feel like things like quality and breed could change the price. I also only charge for good roosters any mean ones or ones who don’t do their job are free.

Depends on whom you want to sell them to. A good home: FREE. To be eaten: 5 to 10. Roos are unfortunately hard to get rid of if you cant stomach eating them yourself. My rule is that if anyone is going to eat them, its me. I would rather it be me who is going to care and see that their death is as painless and appreciative as possible than some stranger who has no investment in their lives.
