I will be receiving any of these following chicken breeds as fertile hatching eggs. Here is the list of breeds I could get in the assortment (https://www.meyerhatchery.com/Hatching-Eggs-c39792169). IT is any of the breeds of the fertile eggs that they sell. for the 10 eggs that I ordered it costed 32 bucks. If it is a 50% hatch rate 5 would hatch. Should I sell them as straight run, or female. I am not a professional vent sexer so should I wing sex them all? All help is appreciated!!

Does 6 bucks a chick seem good?
Depends on what breeds actually hatch (if you get some rarer breeds in your assortment) and what the market in your area looks like. Realistically most people want sexed birds, but if you live somewhere where males are allowed, you may have more of a market for straight run. Hard to say.

I have paid as much as $18 for a chick but it was sexed. I personally wouldn't buy chicks that couldn't be sexed to 90% accuracy or more, no matter the price, because I don't want males, but that's me.

Where are you located. In this area, no chance of getting $6 a piece for a straight run chick. Sounds like your going to go broke unless you have your own chickens to hatch eggs from.

The best course is to be honest and sell as straight run. Since it will be hard to tell the breeds in that assortment that may affect how well they sell.

In my area I have a great feed store that I can order any breed with most being just $4 for sexed pullets with a "we take back accidental roosters" guarantee.

Look at craigslist for your area and see what others are asking. It's what I would do.
