How Much Veg?

Hello there wanted to ask a question...
my two black Marans have the run of my back garden and eat has much grass has they like,
so do i still need to give them other vegtables or is the grass enough for there diet?

I don't think you would have to, but they do enjoy other veggies and they can get some extra nutrition.

You don't have to, but they do enjoy frozen or cool veggies this time of year. Sometimes we give them frozen veggies from the store if they're on sale. When it is really hot, I'll chop veggies up, put them in pie tins, and fill with water to freeze. They have to work at it to get the veggies, and pecking the ice with their beaks will cool them down. Eating veggies can help keep them hydrated, as well.
