My neighbor has barred rock and australorp chickens. I have hatched them out myself and the hatch rate on them is right around 90-94%. They are beautiful birds... When she collects them she doesnt seperate the eggs(and they look alot alike) so it would be a mixed dozen of the two breeds. what would be a good price for them?? any help would be appreciated! thanks!

Look up ebay and eggbid for hatching egg prices.

For a pure breed you have to pay about $10-12 per doz or more + shipping, this is a very fair price.

$5.00 a doz is a price for fresh free range, non battery cages eating eggs in many areas of the country.

I would not sell pure breed fertile hatching eggs for $5.00 a doz + putting effort in shipping for nothing.

I rather eat them, donate them to a needy, or feed them back to my birds.
