I've seen people make T.A.R.D.I.S. chicken coops, or just a T.A.R.D.I.S. I thought it would be fun to make one, and if it turns out, maybe even sell them. How much would you be willing to pay (or think others would) for a coop like that? It is difficult and would take some not-so-cheap materials, so I just want to make sure that I'm not trying to do the impossible. While I would be totally excited for a chicken coop that looks like the T.A.R.D.I.S., would very many other chicken owners? Imputs please :)

It would be fun and colorful but like you say expensive to make.
In my opinon i don't think i would necesarily buy this but others might.
difficult decision

That is a nice looking tardis. I'm a who fan but not so much id want one in my backyard. Lol. Now my daughter on the other hand would love it. Huge fan. Maybe a scaled down version would be ok. You'd really have to promote it on the Dr. Who sites to sell. They'd probally be willing to pay the big bucks for it. Make one that looks like an adipose and id buy it in a heartbeat. Lol.

I should have known that I could not have a crazy idea on my own without there being at least two old threads about it already!

I think that I would definitely have to go for the "downsized" variety. It's not much of a TARDIS if I can't go out in the dead of night and magically move it around the yard to freak out the neighbors. It would definitely have to be "faux sturdy", and not the genuine article. Luckily home improvement stores are full of plastic moldings and the like.

Actually, I saw a "Little Free Library" that was a TARDIS -- that's what got me thinking. I also saw the "coop of the week" "Coopula", and figured that was half a TARDIS already. The top could be ventilation somehow, instead of a flashing light. The high windows are classic coop venting as it is.

If you could make it actually bigger on the inside and put the real David Tenant in it I would pay $1000000!!! Lol
It would only work for small backyard flocks, you wouldn't get too many hens in there but if you could somehow increase the living space it could work
