How much would you pay for these eggs?

i have some swedish ducks that ive never sold eggs from and i never have seen them advertised so i would like you to estimate a price of sorts from the pictures below

ive taken a few to the county fair and got 2 1sts, 3 seconds, and champion medium duck but i plan on taking some of my blues to open shows in April, May, and October...also the county fair in July and maybe the state fair in August

these are 4 of the 7 babies i hatched in October but i sold them they are fathered by the black drake below

the black drake won Champion Medium Duck and fathered the ducklings above

these are three show hens i bought at a show in Lebanon Indiana in October '09

You might be able to get more for show bird lines.

Have you seen the price for hatching eggs from McMurry. YIKES! A small fortune! If you charged half of what they are asking you would still be rolling in dough...LOL

i didnt even mean to pick such a high priced a breed i just like it so i gathered together a flock thats all not for the $

I've always thought a good rule of thumb is to sell hatching eggs for half the price that you would sell the ducklings for.

So - what did you sell the ducklings you hatched last October for? I'd say half that price is a good amount to try selling the hatching eggs at. If they don't sell, then offer them a bit cheaper. If they sell like hotcakes, raise the price a bit.

Your ducks are beautiful, by the way.

sold my ducklings for $3.50 a piece
