Wanted to have a place to show my little babies and how they turn out!
I’ve had my first hatch, they’re all set for later throughout the month though. The next one is set to hatch on Sunday, this one I’ve named Dinosaur and her mom is either a BCM, Sapphire gem or Lavender orp Ameraucana cross (lavender doesn’t show on mom) but the dad is a pure light Brahma.

With every hatch I will show the baby and who I believe to be the mom or the possible moms. Ahhh im so happy I love Brahmas!

Here’s the dad Foghorn(Fog for short)

She is definitely an australorp x light Brahma, she’s as big as my one week old bantam almost as big as the blue Cochin and her leg feathers are white like her dads.

I also just had egg no. 2 pip this morning set 05/07

The two black ones got me stumped, they could both be from my BSL and both be females so no headspots or they’re both from different moms. The eggs were different sized and shades but they look exactly the same. The two hens are either Australorp or BSL and they’re both veryyyy big chicks

Either a BSL or a (very big) Australorp mom, set 05/07 hatched 05/28. Very sassy little chick, had to take her out of the incubator real soon after her hatch because she would not be quiet and kept pushing the eggs around
