How nutritious is chicken poop for my dog?

I'm actually extremely curious about what illnesses or parasites a dog could contract from eating chicken poo. My 18 month old Newfoundland will not stop eating it and now he is dropping weight like crazy and has diarrhea after every meal. We are going to the vet and I'm wondering if there is something specific we should be testing for.

I'm not sure nutritious is the word...

@SilberHenne let your vet know that your pup eats chicken poop. They can test in most places in house for common parasites but might opt to send a sample to a pathologist to screen for things specific to chicken feces. Hope your pup is okay!

Has anyone tried the cayenne shaker on chicken poop to discourage their dog from eating it?

My new puppy is obsessed with eating chicken poop.
