How often and how much to feed 3 to 4 month pullets

Was wondering how many times a week I should give my pullets whole oats as a TREAT?

They are on a grower crumble right now and vegetable scraps from the kitchen.

Was also wondering about grit. I have been putting small gravel in their run periodically. Do I have to purchase grit or will this do?

They seem happy and healthy

Your signature implies you have 6 birds? If so, a handful a day of treat won't hurt them (unless you're Paul Bunyon). As long as the rock your offering them is small enough for them to use it's probably cool - I just have coarse sand/pea gravel that they use. Have you seen them picking up tiny pieces??? If they seem happy and healthy, then it sounds like everything is great!
