how often can I check my eggs?

Any ideas? I don't want to check them to often in case I hurt them, but I need to know if any of the new embryos die, there on day 6 of incubation.

Some people check them every day. Just be careful how you handle them and always wash your hands before handling them. Personally, I candle once at day 14 to make sure I’m not cooking a chicken grenade. Otherwise I let them go.

I candled mine once every day. Most people candle on day 3, day 7, day 10, day 14, and day 18 when they go into lockdown. 3 of my 5 fertile eggs hatched even when I candled every night. Momma hen gets off the eggs for 30 - 45 minutes everyday so you shouldnt have aproblem opening the incubator for a few seconds.
