Daily. Even with only 2 birds, if I miss just one poop, inevitably I end up stepping in it (Murphy's Law is alive and well) and tracking it all over creation, including through the house. So I try to get every poop every day. Just easier for me than cleaning up poop that is tracked all over. While I may have only 2 birds, together they poop a bazillion times a day.. Can't even imagine how much poop for bunches of chickens..... Also, with all the disgusting humidity and moisture around especially in the summer, I figure that's less festering stuff for the birdies feet to come into contact with, and maybe I am reducing risk of truly unpleasant things like bumblefoot. JJ
I rake out the poop under the roosts every day or every other day, don't use litter and only clean out the nests if they are dirty or need more hay. I have round roosts, so I don't get poop there.
Takes all of 3 min. to clean out my coop. I free range, so my dogs clean up the poop in the "run"!
Never bleach or scrub any other surface but the waterer every so often.

I'm with you on this one!! If you use the dry stall or DE and deep litter method you really don't have cleaning to do!!
Ditto - I have been told I'm OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) when it comes to cleanliness. I add a little fresh litter once in a while and vacuum out spider webs - only cuz I don't like spiders! Oops there goes that OCD thing again.
Since their run is huge I use a small tiller and mix under their high traffic areas and sometimes add some composed pine needles to keep the soil loosend. The coop itself I clean out about once every 2-4 weeks depending on the mess they have made.
This is what I *love* about the chicken tractor. When the "run" gets messy - move! And the grass just gets greener and greener.
I probably open up the sleeping box/nest box 2-3 times a year and scrape it down. It's got a slatted floor, so the poos fall through, mostly, to the ground or to a tray in winter. The tray's nice, because I can dump it right into the compost bin.
