I throw scratch in the morning and then in the evening go out and replenish their feeder and give them fresh water and collect eggs. So twice a day. I could cut out the morning scratch I guess but I have to go out there anyways to feed the rabbits and Mr. FuzzyButt!!!

None of the above? I keep a feeder where they have access to feed 24/7. They get treats (table scraps) one to two times a day but other than that they free range and eat out of the feeder.

X2 you need to have another voting option.

I'll feed mine treats once or twice a day, but they have food 24/7 otherwise.

X3- Can you add a choice to the poll? Maybe- They never run out of food? Or, Often enough that the feeder is never completely empty?

I check food every other day, and if it is less than 1/4 full, it gets totally re-filled. I use 2 feeders as well, so they never run out, but they are also free ranged on 2 acres.

Sorry I wasnt more help.

Thanks for all the answers I really appreciate it. I didn't think of those who have feed out all the time since I can't do that. I was thinking of those who have to scoop and toss!

I posted once a day, but for the younger birds we feed them 2Xs a day. If we feed more than that they always seem to waste feed and not eat all of it. I know that if your birds are too fat they don't breed as well and that is especially true for call ducks.

I feed once a day and they get to free range. I used to keep a feeder full but started having problems with rats showing up so regulating the feed has lessened (I'm sure not completely eliminated) the problem. Now we only have squirrels stealing the corn when we feed.

I have 22 lb feeders. I fill them up on Sat morning and add to them throughout the week. I try to have them close to empty by Saturday morning so I can swap them for clean ones. I refresh their water the same way.

30lb feeder and big waterer full all the time check them eveeryday and if i have time they get out to range almost everyday from around 4 till dark, going to strt feeding some boss
