I'm surprised that more people on BYC don't. Jax loves it and I feel like it is giving him that calcium boost.

I feed ProBios probiotic supplement if I feel they need it.

I don't buy yogurt much, for anyone, and never for the dogs.

Great time for this poll Gritty! My mastiff has been sick since he got fixed..(we did bring him to the vets and they had us put him on pepcid.. and gave him a shot to quiet his tummy down..)but anyways...
They told us to feed him a bland diet for like a week...rice and boiled hamburg or chicken or low fat cottage cheese...
and i was wondering if i should give him some yogurt also? or will that maybe make him sicker..
Hes lost 12 pounds in like a week and 1/2....

I'm so sorry that Major is sick.

from me to him.
Jax went thru a spell of vomiting awhile back - something he ate, I'm sure. We gave him pepto and he was right as rain the next day. Now I have to hide the pepto bismal bottle or he'd drink it all up.

We've had him sleeping with us the last few nights to keep an eye on him...

My ducklings get yogurt when they're not eating well (with a little poly-vi-sol mixed in), and my dogs get a few tablespoons of it with their food when they have an upset tummy or gas from eating something else that they shouldn't have.
