How often do you visit your chickens?

I like the routine that becomes part of chicken keeping, I like getting up early, taking them their breakfast, and scatter some treats, tie up some veg etc for later munching. I water all my plants while they eat; then I go down again at 4ish, and they go into the bigger pen so they can forage around a bit, while I do my gardening. Then I have my tea and cake while watching their antics, thenput them back into their run for their supper. I am doing more fencing for their larger run, so I do a bit more there, and this goes to about 8 or 9. Then its time to pop them back into their coop, or if its dark, they have gone in on their own. Naturally there is no dinner for the kids (in the house) and they are rapidly becoming quite proficient cooks lol (or, since it is the summer hols, I make an early supper instead)

Ok.. so am I the only one with a "chicken Cam" set up in the coop so I can check on them whenever I need my chicken fix?

I love sitting outside under the huge oak tree watching my girls run and scratch. It is the best thing on Chicken TV. They always fly up to my lap when I sit down to see what treats I have for them or just to say "Hi!"

I sit by her site now with her sister. I must be crazy!

Time to go back to school now that summer is over. Hopefully, I'll keep busy enough to last through the day until I can drive around to the coop to see my girls!! LOL

I visit my chickens probably at least 10 times a day, no joking either. I just love them! I bring them ice cubes when it is hot and just really sit and watch them. They are funny little critters!

When I had chickies, I visited them everyday, several times.

Now I'm chickenless but if I can get them again, I'll visit them evry single day for a few hours.

I visit mine several times a day when they're in the coop & run. And when they are out & about, I sit up on the coop stairs and hang out with them and watch their antics. Love them!

I love that saying "bitten by the chicken bug" so great. I am as well and probably go out six or seven times a day and most visits are not just a quick check. I love just sitting out and watching them, so relaxing! Some days it's the best part of my day!

I go out there several times a day. Give treats, check food and more important water levels (114 here today). I also supervise free range time due to the hawks we have. I am also on first egg watch so I check nest boxes twice a day. I wanted a chicken cam but the DH said that was too much. I did however get him to install a window AC today

I have a table and chair set up but the coop/run to sit in the shade and watch them do chicken stuff. I put a kiddie pool in yesterday and hoped to see some chicken swimming but they only drink out of it and lay against it cause I keep a block of ice in it. I love my girls!

Since the temps are so hot now-I check on them about 6-8 times during the day. I am also checking for eggs now!

One each day for the past three days-todays egg was in the run.
