decide to respond to a post, get halfway though, decide not to bother and click the back button?

I would say that for every time I press the submit button, I have backed out of at least 3-4 responses.

I do, lots! And there are posts I would respond to but don't want to read 20 pages to get there.

I do it quite often. Sometimes cause I realize my response would be exactly like the 20 before it or because I forget that if you dont have something nice to say you should say anything at all....

Yep, many times! Today is one of those days that I wish I hit the back button, instead of submit. I hate it when what you say somehow gets all contorted and twisted and suddenly remsembles nothing you originally said.
