How often does your sex link lay?

I have one sex link and she has started laying at 20 weeks and is now 22 weeks. She is averaging 6 eggs a week!

Is this normal or do I have a really good layer? I'm mad that my other sex link was killed by that dog now! What great layers these girls are!

Yea that really normal for sexlinks. They are egg laying machines.

I have 12 red stars and they lay huge eggs almost everyday. I can get from 8 to 10 a day!! Good girls....I don't know how they do it.

yes i've got 100 year old ones and 150 in the brooder brown sexlinks and i wouldn't have any other kind.

Mine lay every day for 3 weeks, then take a 1 day break. I love my 2 girls so much I picked up 5 more and a roo.
