How often should we change out their bedding/ paper towels?

Once a day sound about right? We have 5 chicks

i have six and i change it at least once a day. when they were only a few days i changed it less but now that they are coming up on three weeks i change it every night before bed!

If you only have five I would say once a day is just fine.

It also depends on how big your brooder is and where you have the brooder. I had my brooder in the corner of our den, so I changed the paper towels several times a day to keep it from getting smelly.
