how often to feed fresh greens.

Wow, wonderful, how lucky are you and your chicks, it would cost me a fortune to spoil my girls like that. You definitely have a great arrangement there, well done.

During the growing season, my chickens are out every day, foraging. Over time, I've planted more foods for them to forage on. In the winter when everything is buried in snow, I supplement their diet with wheat grass, alfalfa and other sprouts.

The fence holes are 3 in x 2 in he folded the piece of fence over zip tied the sides, leaving the top open, and we just fill it and wire it to the fence to keep it in place while they tear off pieces of greens.
