Hi, I was told that these are about a year old and laying eggs.

It’s been only 4 days since I brought them home. So no eggs yet but more and more I googled pics of adult chickens, these do not look a year old. What do you think ?

Yes they squatted? Or yes you tried to pick them up?

I have 5 month old pullets who just started laying and have more developed combs. Thinking yours might be 4 months. Good news is you’ll get lots of eggs once they start laying!

In addition to the above.....

Chickens hate change. It can put them temporarily off of laying as they are stressed while adjusting to the new home and new caregivers.

Also here the days are still very short on daylight. Chickens need 12+ hours of daylight to lay.

Patience will be rewarded.....eventually.
