Ameracannas. I have no idea how to spell it. Lol. And thank you!Look about a week and a half maybe 2 to me! Are they Americana’s or Easter eggers?
I got them at Rural King, they were advertised as Amerucannas, <- I never know how to spell that! Lol! But 1 doesn't have the cheeks. So, I'm guessing, or hoping that its an Easter egger. The reason I added to my flock was because I wanted blue eggsMore likely EE, about a week or at the most 2wks ^^^^
EE's are mixed breed chickens that can lay colored eggs, Americauna is the fancy term. Ameracaunas, with an A, are a real breed.I got them at Rural King, they were advertised as Amerucannas, <- I never know how to spell that! Lol! But 1 doesn't have the cheeks. Thank you! I was wondering, because before I got them, I knew breeds I wanted and researched them. The site i got info from, warned me on the spelling, so I made sure to check. But I don't think Rural King isn't a good place to get them from. A lot of the chicks had pasty butt and the lady that put them into my box, was picking at the butt quite hard. We had one die. I told her, you need to be gentle around their vents. Anyway. They had silkies with bantam but were only labeled as Bantam. So I'm sure that was probably the case with the Ameracaunas.EE's are mixed breed chickens that can lay colored eggs, Americauna is the fancy term. Ameracaunas, with an A, are a real breed.
