How old are they?

Ok I just got these chicks today but my mother just asked me a very good question...How old are they? I have absolutely no idea. I bought them at Bucheits today and did not see any signs saying how old they are or anything so I am looking for your guesses/estimates.

They are all the same size so I woud assume they are all around the same age.

I would say 5-7 days old.

Ours look the same way. We got ours at a feed store and they told us the day we bought them they were about 3 days old. So I am guessing they are about 6 days now and they look identical to yours

They've got some pretty good wing feathers, I would say 7 days.

rickmacqueen: they are a mix of Rhode Island Reds and New Hampshire Reds and the black ones are Silver Laced Wynadottes

There is a gentleman who has taken daily photos of his 3 chicks from day 1 until they were 2 months of age.. Beautiful photos, too!
