How old before a muscovy will start laying?

Here are a couple more shots just in case anyone else wanted to vote on whether I'm getting eggs this spring or not.

Thats a drake.I have one chockolate muscovy drake and two hens.

Listen to and observe the ducks. Both sexes make a trill type of sound, but females are more vocal than males. Male Muscovy ducks hiss more than females, accompanied by a tail wagging posture and feather fluffing.

O.K., O.K.... I'm getting convinced that I'm not having a duck egg omlet any time soon if I don't get my hands on some hens.

I'm not too savy about ducks, so do I need to be concerned with what color hens I get or will just any scovy work? By the way, what would you say Moby is anyway?

I was also thinking that since Moby Duck is a male, then whatever hens I get locally will be unrelated. Or is that not too important?

Hope I'm not fireing off too many questions...
