How old before mealworms or treats?

I currently have a mealworm farm I've been keeping. I am ready to start treating my six month old and my year and a half old laying hens to them. I also have chicks that are six weeks old...can I also give the mealworms to them as a treat too or is there a prefered age for this...also how about treats from the garden or kitchen...my older hens love em...can I share them with the chicks now or should I wait for this?...thanks for any help.

At 6 weeks they are old enough for treats. Just make sure they get some grit to help them digest it.
