How old do cochatiels live?

I got Magic from my brother who waa breeding birds. He is currently 26 Plus and going strong. Hope he sets a record.

I have one that I bought before my son was born,he is now 23 and Thumper is doing great.I got him when he was 7 weeks old.He is actually living outside year round with my other tiels,with no heat provided.
