I dismissed the idea of a college student to start with because of the literature comment... but you're all probably right that was what they were thinking.
I can't ever remember anyones name the first go-round. It must be a product of my grey hair

Oh and my puppy is a Jack Russel... so they are similar looking

I get the same thing all the time! I've been carded to see R rated movies before! I've also been laughed at while buying liquor when the cashiers can't believe how old I am. Even the kids I babysit for can't believe I'm 22.

I really can see why they thought younger, and your tips about being out of school for a while helped my guess.
I am 35 and because I married someone 6 years older everybody thinks we are the same age. So now I just telll
people I'm 41, hopefully they think I look young for 41!LOL

I am the EXACT same way. I went into a store and was buying something and anyway the point is they said you wanna be a veterinarian when you grow up. And I said no I dont thinks so. He said well you never know. I just stopped there and didn't say anything after that.
YES I do know. I have already thought of that and turned it down. I am in college with a whole new career in mind.

I get it all the time. And like my mom says that I will appreciate it when I am in my 30's but still... it can be annoying.
