How old do these girls look?

I'm pretty sure she's a BSL. She has the green irridecent feathers and some brown on her neck which I think the BSL have. Now, since this is my first BSL, I can't say for sure! I suppose it's possible she's a BA too. The farm I got her from had those for sale too. The lady who helped me said the BSL were the ones with the brown on their necks though.

Yeah they may be right because as my girls have gotten older she has gotten more and more red on her chest and I started questioning whether or not Cackle sent the correct black chicks to me. I don't care either way but just want to know what I actually got, you know? I bet she is a BSL due to the fact that mine is very red in the face with a full comb and waddles already. Supposedly sex links mature faster. I hope you get the answers you are looking for...
BTW they are beautiful birds, especially your RSL....I should have gotten one of those too....LOL

Wow! Why would someone tell me they are older than they are? I was expecting their combs and waddles to be larger if they really were hatched in February so I can't say I'm surprised.

He may have just been guessing about the age. You will know when they are about to lay. The combs and wattles grow almost overnight and turn bright red. Then you may get some egg squats.
