How old for mealworms?

My chicks should be here this week..yippee
How old do they have to be to get mealworms and other goodies?

I would wait at least 2 weeks on the worms. It will give them time to get their digestion in order. Be sure to give them grit before they get worms. You can just sprinkle or mix a little in the feed. In the meantime try some plain low fat yogurt mixed with their feed(in a seperate bowl). I start out with just enough yogurt to dampen the feed. When they start liking it you can put more yogurt in. The yogurt will help get the digestion thing going. Good Luck
