How old? He/She?

I got 4 bourbon red(thanks to those to help me figure out what these guys were) at a sale. I ended up selling three when I found out how much room they take up! Now I have this one guy trying to figure out just how old he or she is and if its male or female? Any suggestions?

The bourbon reds are easy to sex. On the males the feathers will have black edging the females white. If you look close at these pics you can see the edging. It shows best on the breast area of the hen
