How old is my chick?

i don’t know the age process or how fast chicks grow, but I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate? She was given to me with no info on her age or breed.

I was gonna say 3 weeks ... these larger mutts hatched on Jan 10th... lil' peanut in the middle is about 8 days old... crazy difference...

I would also hazard a couple weeks. Breed will have to wait until he/she is older. Given that you have no other info on this chick I would not put bets on it being a female yet. That's a robust looking comb and legs. No way to tell for sure until it's older.

Agree around 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. Also agree could be a boy because of the comb.

I agree, 2 1/2-3 weeks, and I would say that you have a little boy. Like chocolatemouse said, big legs and the red comb, both point to cockerel. He is adorable.

Thank you guys! This pic was take when I got her and I’ve been trying to estimate her age! Here is a picture of her now, and now I know that she’s around 10 weeks old!
