How old is my Silkie rooster

This is my silkie rooster I got him about 2 years ago and his spurs were the same size they are now when I got him how old is he?

Cut a spur off and count the rings.

Just kidding. Can't really tell his age by his spurs.
If they were that size 2 years ago I'd say he's 3 1/2 or 4 at least.
