Glad you joined us! I'd guess that Charlee is about 3-4 months old; well past the chick stage but not ready for laying yet. Also, she doesn't really look like a RIR--I would say that she is some sort of game bird mix. Very pretty and cute little bird!

I agree, she looks more like a Red Star to me. That's one of the breeds we have. Prolific layers, super friendly, not flighty, susceptible to weather extremes, especially cold.

Best b-day present ever! (I also have a clutch that should hatch Feb 6th! Lots of b-days that day!)

I agree with all that she is around 3 months old. Like BantamLover21 I think that she is either a gamehen or a game cross of some sort.
