How old is this silkie?

Hi everyone,
I have a silkie that is pretty small she looks like she is three months old, but the lady said she was laying. Sorry I can't put a picture up> don't know? She hasn't been laying and I have a heat lamp in there to!

A three month bird is far too young to lay. You may have to wait 6 months or more before you get an egg. But by the sounds of it, you have a cockerel if at 3 months, it already has wattles larger than the one in the pic.
