How old is to old?

How old can my rooster get before I should worry about whether he to old to fertilize our eggs?

They are in their prime from 1 to 3 years of age... after that... I'm not certain.

I purchased a rooster from a lady, and she raised him from a hatch. His daddy was 4. And still today, a year later (now he's 5) still up and running with the girls.
