How Old is Too Old for Processing?

my grandma was pushing 80 before she stoped butchering her own chickens,and thats only because she had a stroke,and my uncle was afraid she would cut herself with the axe,
they just dont makem like her anymore,sure do miss her

i hear ya!..my gram is 94 and still doing pretty good(tough vermont farm girl...)...worked her own garden and all until she was her 80's sometime...and HER mother lived to be 95, and her 2 sisters both lived to be 94 and 95 also....i hope i get THAT gene!....
