How old is your oldest bird?

My oldest bird? I have about 6 that are (we were told) 9 years old. A barred rock,a leghorn,OEGB,Buff Orp,Japanese a serama mix. They're the top chickens around the roost. Haha!

Smokey will be 10 this summer. Hes a Key West chicken and still getting the job done. He by far has been the best rooster I have ever had the privledge of owning.

The rest are almost there though... about three weeks behind.

Pretty darn ancient.

Unless you count my parakeets. They're almost 4.

Many of my birds are turning six years old this year in May.

My oldest chicken is a 10 year old RSL, and still laying.

OH I guess peacocks count

We had 10+ year old peacocks in our care for awhile... they passed away within 3-4 years.

Guy before had raised them for 40++++ years!
