How old was your oldest laying hen

The blond bantam hen with her eyes closed is BlueSpot. She's dying in this picture. She was we believe at least 11 years old when she died. She laid regularly up until about 4 months before her death.
All the other chickens are her descendants.

Marilyn lived to be 10, but a skunk killed her.

How is the egg quality with those old birds? When my birds get to 4, the whites are thin and runny and the yolks break easily, just poor quality.

Decent quality egg -- just thin shells now that she's old.
