this should be fun! how old were you when you got your first chicken(s)? what were they? did they have names? etc etc
I was 6 she was a leg horn and her name was Henny Penny she was eaten 2 months later by my neighbors dog ( their kids put the dog IN the pen while my family was on vacation)
the second chicken was received a few months later( a rhode island red)and her name was lovebug which is funny because she was the most evil bird alive, she tortured the cats, stole mice and birds they caught and ate them in front of the cats, she hunted and ate frogs and at one point she started attacking ME which ended when we had a showdown with a plastic fly swatter.. she became VERY sweet after that.
