Well I looked out my back door to see our one male GP, Elmo sitting down while one of my male Sebbies tried to climb up his back, all the while the sebbie was biting his hair, holding on and kicking with his feet. Then Elmo slowly stood up and the Sebbi continued his attack by biting each of his feet. Elmo just slowly picked up each foot as it got bit and carefully lowered it so he did not step on the Sebbie. Then the Sebbi went underneath him, pulling his hair and nipping.... Elmo just stood there until finally the Sebbi gave up and walked off with his girl. Any other dog might have bit back.....Good Dog

They are so patient with any child or other pet in the family. I have chihuahuas and GP plus one St Bernard. The GP and the Saint allow the chihuahua pups to climb all over them, bite them, eat with them, etc. And they are wonderful with children too. I never have to worry about the attitude of any of the big dogs. Now the chihuahuas can be nasty little ankle biters, but the big dogs are all great.

I had one about 10 years ago, she would let the kittens I would bottle feed from the animal shelter I worked at crawl all over her. It was so cute!! I miss her. SIGH.
