How quickly will she begin to lay again?

So I broke my broody girl and she's out and about in the yard with the girls again. She's still not laying though.

How long can I expect to wait? Is there a typical time after? I realize weather/daylight may be playing into it as well.

The timeframe is usually about 20 days after you break them in my experiences with my always broody delaware mix...

I know, it sounds like a long time, but my girl was like clockwork after I would break her of her broodiness. That's why many folks try to avoid broody breeds.

I know... I just love my little cochin, but I think I'd have to avoid the breed again if I were to be serious about the eggs or get out of the city limits!
