I have this amazing lil ee hen, and although I've always been curious about where she got her features, mainly in coloring, I've never actually asked about her, until now. Anybody got a clue of what her parents may have looked like?

not to mention, here and there she has some blue feathers, they kinda just appear at random.

It’s close to impossible to tell (unless she came from your own flock), as most Easter eggers are from EE x EE crosses.
Nope, she came from a friend, otherwise I'd know- I can see why it'd basically be impossible, easter eggers are one of the rainbow breeds aren't they? Thanks though.

She looks like a splash with red markings. so possibly her parents were blue with red or splash with red. Best way to find out would be to hatch some of her chicks and see what kind of genes you're working with. If the rooster has black feathers and your chicks are all blue, she's a splash. If the rooster is black and the babies come out black, she's not a splash.

That's my best guess but I'm not 100% sure.

My guess is she may have some wheaten somewhere in there but I'm not all that sure, as for where the blue came from, possibly a splash? Idk how it all works when it comes to genetics n stuff.

With hatching some of her eggs, I've tried that- I'll make a thread about all the details later, but its almost as if she's infertile? Is that possible for a chicken? I've tried in almost all my hatches, and I've had her for about 5 years now.
