Interesting, and yes you should definitely keep the little chick. I'd like to see how they turn out when they're a little older if possible as well.I only have the one Cochin bantam. She is very sweet and has an awesome personality. Entertaining little bird!
Actually a pretty decent layer though her eggs are very tiny, consistent with her barely 2 pound body size.

Keeping this little chick of hers too because her personality is very similar.This little chick was an accidental hatch, I thought it was a Silkie egg! I breed silkies. But I do have other breeds, just for fun!
Sure! One of the reasons I’m keeping this one is because the color is so interesting.
Yes, when I got that ee hen, there were many other ee's, but she was the only one of her coloring, stood out to me. The others were relatively the same color.
She doesn’t look mottled to me, and mottling is extremely rare in both Easter eggers and ameraucanas.
well could it be that maybe whatever wasn't an ameraucana was mottled, so she's just got some type of off brand mottling?
