How should I store eggs until ready to incubate?

we keep ours on the kitchen counter in an egg carton pointy-end down. when i was younger, we just had them in a basket on the floor in the living room. our house always stays between 60-70, but usually around 60. if you've already put them in the fridge, i think it still might be okay to put them in the incubator. you never know, i've heard of people refrigerating their eggs and having a fairly good hatch (50-60%)

to all those who keep their house at like 70 (your crazy! thats WAY too hot for an Alaskan!) put the eggs in a closet, it's generally a tad cooler in there. basements are okay, too. this summer we'll be keeping our "hatching" eggs here in the basement. it stays pretty cool down here, and i think it might get is a better hatch rate.

Try us July - Sept. 100 aint nothing! and 90% humidity on top of it.
It'll melt the paint off your car!
I'd love to vist Alaska one day, I love wildlife and all the outdoors stuff. Kind of envious, but then you have those nuclear winters too, so maybe just a visit would be nice! LOL

i reccomend visiting between the end of may and the beginning of august. summer peaks in mid-july and in some regions (typically around lakes) it can get as hot as 90-100 occasionally. lots or rain in june. i say go to Anchorage and Drive to Fairbanks! it's a wonderful trip and you see so much wildlife! granted it takes 12 hours, but it's worth it. i hope you do visit someday, I guarantee it will be a trip to remember for the rest of your life!

I admit, Georgia was beautiful too. I had so much fun!
