How soon after onset of laying may I try incubating Coturnix eggs

I have a little trio of browns who are 4 weeks now. 2 hens 1 roo. How soon after they begin laying and he is doing his duty, may I have a hopefully fertile clutch to put into the bator? Do you want to wait until they are a little older? Feeding gamebird starter, and ground oyster shell, the occassional boiled egg and alfalfa fines. Light on them all the time due to the fact they are just ending their "brooding phase"...

When your hens start laying in a week or 2, they are fine to set. Don't bother with the giant double yolk eggs, but all the normal size eggs should hatch if incubated correctly.

Pretty much from the get go

If the roo is crowing and doing his job, it never hurts to incubate the eggs

at 6-7 weeks when you see an egg of course

Nope, this is for AFTER I hatch out your "sure to be, babe- alicious" fine specimines. These are just my first three worthy in size and color to try out my own first hatch from my ...well first hatch.

Thank you for all of your help too.
