How soon before I see eggs!!!!!

Good afternoon to all of my chicken raising friends!!! I am writing once again to inquire about my buff orpingtons that are now 23 weeks old that have not yet begun laying. I would say that I am a tad bit excited

and looking forward to the first egg. They have started a lot slower than my barred rocks. I have noticed that their wattles and combs have now turned red and the cockerals are actively mating them every evening before they roost for the night.

What are your thoughts??? All of you experts please weigh in and give me your feedback.

they will soon lay eggs, ages varies, some will lay later . make sure you give them good laying crumbles. try putting fake eggs or golf balls in their nest , Good luck
