How soon is too soon?

I have a grown gander and 6 goslings....how soon would I be able to put them all together in the same pen? The goslings are about 2-3 weeks old.

I also have 5 ducks about the same age that I would like to put with them also? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I would not put them together in a pen until the goslings are older because the gander may become aggressive with them, especially in the spring (breeding season). You could start introducing them by putting them in a pen that is divided so that they can see each other. Or, by putting the goslings outside to free range (under your supervision) while the gander is also out. Then you could observe his behavior towards them. But, unless they have a goose mom to protect them, I would wait until they are bigger to put them together full time.

I did free range them all together and it turns out that he has been taking care of them! He's doing a great job, and such a joy to have around! Anyways, thanks to all who replied!
