how soon til we can tell the gender?

I got a new chick today, and boy is it a looker! I'm not even sure how old it is, the lady that sold it to me (for $3) bought three straight run, then found out she was only allowed two in her town.

I only get to keep it if it turns out to be a hen tho. No roos in our town. How soon before you think we'll be able to tell?

I must say, I don't think I've ever seen a chicken quite this ugly, but I'm sure it'll grow into itself, right? RIGHT?

This is the first time I've tried to do pics, hope I did it right!

Some of those naked neck birds look like tall, skinny fashion models when they grow up

But sorry, I have no guess about gender nor do I know enough about this type of bird to suggest when you might be able to tell.
