Have couple roosters that quit doing there job or started firing blanks. They went too chopping block. Assuming new rooster is fertile how soon will the eggs start being fertile?

Thanks.

if you see him doing his job with the ladies give them a few weeks and the eggs should be fertile. They stay fertilized usually about 3 weeks after rooster was with them..shouldn't be long, crack one open and see if you can see a small bullseye look in the yolk, if you can see it its fertile.

Fertility in quail realistically lasts closer to a week, although it can theoretically last a week or so longer.

Two weeks after he's been in there you should have complete fertility or as close to it as possible.
